Celebrating 5 Years of TiffinWalli CIC

A Journey of Transformation, Perseverance, and Lone Endeavours

Today, we mark an important milestone – the 5th anniversary of TiffinWalli CIC, and I am filled with a whirlwind of emotions. Looking back on the journey we have embarked on together, I feel immense gratitude and pride.

A Journey

Five years ago, I was facing some personal challenges. Moreover, a job that no longer spoke to my passion. My body and mind were nudging me to make a significant change. To do something meaningful and fulfilling that resonated with my true self. The idea, which I buried for a long due to many reasons, came out in the form of TiffinWalli CIC.

I enrolled in a programme that connected me with like-minded individuals to fuel my motivation. It was during this transformative period I discovered Vishen Lakhani's 6-phase meditation. Using this powerful tool, I visualised TiffinWalli and focused on the organisation's true purpose.

But the journey was a lonely one. The all-consuming passion and time commitment required by TiffinWalli meant sacrificing social activities and reducing my networking opportunities. Yet, the hunger to meet like-minded individuals who could lend a new perspective or give a motivational boost was out there. It was a constant tug-of-war - to network and meet people on a similar journey or attend to the ever-growing tasks associated with TiffinWalli. The struggle was real, but so were the rewards.

The Challenges

When you align yourself with your purpose, you realise obstacles are not there to block your path but to shape and mould you into a stronger, more resilient version of yourself. Challenges that once seemed insurmountable become puzzles that need solving. This was a significant lesson learned on this journey.

I decided to leave my stable job, a risk that seemed too steep for many. But having seen life from a place of scarcity, I wasn't afraid to lose again. I knew that I could climb back up because I had done it before. This career break or leaving the job without any financial resources, risky as it was, filled me with a joy I had never known before because I was now dedicating myself to my dream and purpose.

The learning curve in the past five years has been steep and rewarding. I have evolved through extensive training, reading, and finding solutions to problems I never thought I would face. I am not the same person I was when I started TiffinWalli. I am a version of myself that I could not even have imagined being five years ago. I have also learned that having even one or two person who believes in your dream and is happy to join you on your journey can make the entire process infinitely easier. I consider myself fortunate to have found such individuals in the course of this journey. Their faith in my vision and support has been invaluable

Lesson Learned:

To everyone reading this, remember if there is something you wish to achieve, you must have unwavering faith in yourself and your ideas. Do not let fear hinder your path to greatness. Focus on your purpose and its intention, and let the universe take care of the rest.

Our First Training

 Achievements :

Today, as we celebrate TiffinWalli's 5th year, I am proud to say that we have overcome obstacles, delivered thousands of tiffins, supported several women, created a space others can grow, and brought joy to many people. Nevertheless, more importantly, we have stayed true to our purpose.

Gratitude :

It is crucial to mention the invaluable support we have received from our generous funders. My heartfelt thanks go to Rosa, Awards for All, Reach Fund, Heritage Lottery Fund, and most importantly, the Foundation for Future London. Their faith in our vision and financial assistance has been instrumental in helping us reach where we are today. Without them, our journey would have been a lot harder.

Thank you for being part of the TiffinWalli CIC’s journey. Here is to the years of service, growth, and transformation ahead!

Stay blessed, stay hungry!
